What have our rulers hidden from us?
Misrule is a research archive of historical and contemporary subjects that are unusual, disputed, or poorly covered in standard references. It is published by the Spectrum of True Friends Network.
Each entry is a short dossier: narrative, anomaly, provenance, and open questions. Sources are cited. Images are drawn from public archives, not generated. Where the evidence is incomplete, that is stated explicitly. Over time we will amass an alternative encyclopedia of the world unknown in an attempt to save it from the sands of time.
Entries are edited by hand. The collection grows every day. It is high quality, automatic research meant to invert the power dynamic thrust upon us at this time and support distributed archival efforts worldwide.
